Yesterday, a Russian military plane launched four air-to-ground missiles from the Caspian Sea, two of which were shot down by Ukrainian troops in Odessa and two of which hit an apartment building inhabited by ordinary civilians.

This tragedy has already circled the entire Internet.


These missiles have an attack range of 2,000 kilometers and can be launched from enemy planes flying far away. Ukraine does not own air defense against such missiles. Two of them they shot only thanks to Ukrainian soldiers skills, using short range air defense countermeasures, which are not designed for such kind of defense.

Stinger and similar missiles or British Stormer Starstreak missile air defense vehicles, which gained Ukraine, protecting against low altitude eshelons, which means that they are short-range air defense countermeasures, which defensive ranges are around 7-20 km at best.


For such defense, Ukraine needs S-300, S-400 or S-500, possibly American patriots or similar countermeasures. However, one such missile can destroy only one enemy missile, and the enemy launches hundreds of them all over Ukraine, not just some cities.

Today, air defense is more expensive than measures against it. And in theory, many such systems are needed to protect the whole country.


Russia has claimed they have attacked an arms depot in Odessa, but only a few generations of civilians have been killed in their attack ...


These rockets, if I am not mistaken, are a legacy of Soviet times. As the Ukrainians claimed, they were returned to Russia from Ukraine, after some kind of international agreement with which it seems that related as well Germany. It’s just what I’ve heard and what needs to be checked and confirmed.


According to Oleksiy Arestovich, during the reign of former German Chancellor Merkel, the German army was impoverished and severely weakened as she cut funding for it and thus affected its lag behind other world armies.

At the same time, information about the current chancellor of this country, Olaf Scholz, was disclosed that he deliberately and pro-actively hindered aid to Ukraine more than month. Politician in one German leading party have also been linked to corruption and Russia.


I wonder what other ties with Russia will unfold at the German and French Political Theaters, where equipment of French origin manufactured in 2016 is found in Russian armaments. Thanks to which these tanks are now much more deadly.

As we can see, the truth is revealed over time and Ukraine is well aware of this...
