On February 24, with the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Putin's regime hoped for a lightning victory, the capture of Kiev and other cities, with a total of 8 operational directions, splitting their forces for around 25 thousand of troops per single direction. The Kremlin's idea was to defeat Ukraine, its government and the world community first and foremost in the mind that Russia is already everywhere in Ukraine, that there is no point in defending it, and that might have worked if not an 8-year war with Russia so far, the state of consciousness of the defenders and soldiers, where they were prepared for this aggression, though not everywhere they responded perfectly to it.

As a result, Ukraine's resistance to the invaders is very fierce and persistent, where some of the heroes even sacrificing their lives to defend their country, what acts of heroism the AZOV regiment guys carrying out every day in Mariupol. As people in need of a severe medical operations still go to fight to help others, acts of self sacrifice by exploding themselves and equipment, to prevent capturing of it to enemy hands and so on.

Захисники Маріуполя роблять неможливе і ви маєте це розуміти. І ви маєте теж робити неможливе, особливо ті, хто так само вірні присязі.👇🏼 pic.twitter.com/u02MEt27KW
At the beginning of the war, the United West and individual states began sending all kinds of aid to Ukraine, including anti-tank or anti-aircraft (MANPADS) mobile individual systems, which are certainly needed and useful as armaments of defense and guerrilla warfare, but not suitable for attack and the expulsion of Russian forces from the territorial borders of Ukraine, not to mention the retaking of Crimea.
Russia has drastically reduced the use of its air power in Ukraine, especially when it comes to close air support, attack helicopters.

The effect is here.
Apparently, we now have a documented kill with the Starstreak MANPAD by Ukraine’s 95th Airborne.

Need to understand that despite all rubbishness of Russian army, it is mechanized military force, not just troops, which during many decades accumulated plenty of tanks, IFVs, various other vehicles, artillery, rocket systems and air forces, including today weaponry, like drones, and that since the beginning of so called 'special operation', those forces captured and reinforced themselves in plenty of Ukrainian areas, cities, while in this case defense means to push all this army away from the Ukrainian territory, what requires weapons for attack, like tanks, IFVs, rocket systems, MLRS, artillery, especially 155 caliber, aviation, especially drones and so on.
Russia plans "to take cities in full, with no consideration for civilian casualties", according to research group @bellingcat - which has been examining the regrouping of Russia's troops in Ukraine https://t.co/3nVcWn4i1f

And Russia still have hundreds or even thousands of specific types vehicles, tanks, IFVs and various aircraft or rocket systems, while to push it from the territory as well needed hundreds, not tens of tanks and other stuff, what currently just starting to gain Ukraine, which still according to Oleksiy Arestovych was not delivered to Ukraine, for what they patiently waiting, while every day of waiting costs human lives.
Today, I sometimes see on social networks some arguing and unhappy people, which telling - where Ukraine put all our help? So far that was just light arms, which I noted before, which are needed, but not sufficient to push enemy from Ukraine. So far, Ukraine not received relevant help for their needs and they need way more of this heavy weaponry, not tens, but hundreds.
#Germany's largest defense concern Rheinmetall is ready to supply #Ukraine with up to 50 Leopard 1 tanks and up to 60 Marder-type armored personnel carriers, the Handelsblatt newspaper reported, citing the director general of the concern.https://t.co/10tLX9zm8C

Gladly, Germany position has begun to change, but this is Putin's war against whole west, against whole Europe, against whole NATO, where all related sides and countries should contribute, how they can. Smaller and weaker, maybe with humanitarian or some equipment aid, refugees shelter, who produce arms, with weapons, and serious weapons, including tanks, rockets, drones and everything, while delivery of all this might took weeks after the decision, same as training of military personnel in Ukraine, while people currently dying and Russia pushing hard, how it can.

What I want to tell that every day of delay costs people lives. Although it may take weeks from the decision to send some weapons to delivery, training and military use of the newly acquired equipment. Ukraine is still waiting for most of what has been promised to this country.
Meanwhile, according to Arestovich, Ukraine launched several Tochka missiles against large gatherings of Russian military forces, fuel and ammunition depots, purely military targets, as he said as retaliation for Kramatorsk. I can’t confirm that it’s part of that response, but even if it isn’t, it’s an interesting coincidence.

That's why president Zelensky currently planning to appeal directly to people of planet, that they pushed their elected politicians to act and to help Ukraine with heavy arms.
In getting what it needs, Ukraine will not wait for politicians around the globe to grow more resolute, says the president’s chief of staff. It will appeal directly to the people https://t.co/mvBSgLkeIO
